If you possess a strong writing voice and industry knowledge, we invite you to share your expertise with our audience.

Who We Seek

We are looking for skilled writers, industry professionals, and subject matter experts. Contributors must be able to translate complex topics into clear, accessible articles. A strong command of the English language is essential for all submissions.

Topic Areas

Our content explores practical insights and trends within the built environment. We cover a broad range of subjects related to spatial design and construction. Relevant areas include:

  • Interior design, fit-out, and renovation projects.
  • Material science, durability standards, and product applications.
  • Construction project management, budgeting, and cost analysis.
  • 3D visualization, digital design tools, and spatial planning.
  • Sustainable building practices and eco-conscious materials.
  • Luxury living trends and smart home technologies.
  • Building codes, industry regulations, and quality standards.
  • International design and construction perspectives.

Content Requirements

  • Word Count: Articles should be between 1000 and 1500 words.
  • Originality: All content must be 100% original and written exclusively for Spruce & Spatial.
  • Accuracy: All facts, statistics, and quoted information require proper attribution. Please include hyperlinks to reputable primary sources.
  • Style: Maintain a professional yet approachable tone. Write for a general audience, explaining technical terms clearly.
  • Formatting: Use clear headings and subheadings to structure your article. Incorporate bullet points or numbered lists where appropriate for readability.

What Not to Submit

We maintain strict editorial standards for our published work. Please do not submit any of the following:

  • Promotional pieces, press releases, or overtly self-serving content.
  • Articles generated by artificial intelligence. All submissions must be human-written.
  • Content previously published elsewhere, including on personal blogs or other websites.
  • Opinion pieces without supporting facts or research.

Submission Process

Please send your pitch to [email protected]. Include “Article Pitch” in your email subject line. Do not send full articles at this initial stage.

Your email should contain: a brief author bio (1-2 sentences), a proposed article title, a concise summary (1-2 paragraphs) of your article idea, and an outline of its main points. Provide links to any relevant writing samples you may have. This helps us assess your style and expertise.

Review Timeline and Compensation

We review all pitches carefully. Our editorial team will typically respond within 10 business days if your pitch is accepted for further consideration. Due to the volume of submissions, we can only reply to successful pitches.

Compensation details for accepted articles are discussed individually. These specifics are shared upon the acceptance of your submitted pitch. We offer competitive rates for high-quality, original content.

We look forward to reviewing your ideas.
